The Omni Hut
The Omni Hut is actually in Smyrna, TN, about 20-30 minutes south of
Nashville. It's vintage Polynesian themed restaurant. Polly is the owner and
super nice. They have no bar and do not serve liquor, but you can BYOB and serve
yourself. A wide array of dishes served in a great environment. A must when in
the area and you have that tiki itch.
Elliston Plaza Soda Shop
Unfortunately we did not get any pictures in side here. It is amazing! It has the jukebox with the individual boxes on each table. A classic diner survivor. You will feel like you stepped back in time from the tile to the round window on the swinging door to the kitchen.
