HARRIMAN, TENNESSEE

Harriman is a small town near Oak Ridge. I understand it was founded as a liquor free Utopia. Today it's the only place around you can get alcohol. It's along a little stretch we like to go looking for antiques.

The Princess Theater. Okay, it's not from the 50's. The style is more Art Deco, but it is a survivor from the past. It has been used, but not much. It has no air conditioning, which makes it unusable in much of the year. There is evidence that it is being worked on, but not too vigorously. There is a cute little snack shop/concessions stand to the left.
