Now there's an ad campaign! And you thought this problem only happened in the 90's with Olestra! No. In the 50's, it seems many normal cooking greases and lards were simply indigestible. Not that frying in Crisco is going to make this come out easy anyway, but at least your intestines can do something with it in between. Halleluiah!
